So, wedding-dress shopping attempts one and two were strikeouts, but I had a bit more luck with my third try.
The third attempt, my mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law went to Syracuse to check out David’s Bridal because I knew they had a few different beach wedding-dress options. I tried on a few lacy dresses that I was surprised I liked.
The more dresses I tried on, the more the criteria for my wedding dress was becoming clearer. Here were some of the things I was looking for in a wedding dress.
sweetheart neckline low back glitzy/glittery/something unique can easily be stuffed into a suitcase (or at least easily carried on the plane) under $1,000 light and airy
Then I tried on this Swiss Dot Galina dress. I loved that it was soo light and incredibly comfortable. When they put the belt on it, I loved it even more.
I tried on a few other dresses, but then I put the Swiss Dot dress back on again. My mom, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law loved it too.
But me being the incredibly decisive person that I am (ha!), I still couldn’t tell them that I was definitely dead set on…
